Video in class

Today in class we watched more of the video about the growing population of India. In India, women are socially lower than the men, and have few rights. Men decide everything in the lives of women in India. When and if they have children, when and who they get married too, etc.

Today in class, we talked more about Kiva and what to do for our extra credit. For most of the class we worked on whatever we needed to though.

For Tuesday

I just remembered that I forgot to do tuesday's blog too. I won't get any credit for this post but I like to do these anyway. I also like to have these so that a have a blog for every day we had class. On Tuesday, we discussed our test more, and learned of a new extra credit opportunity called Kiva. We got our test back and discussed and answered all questions. Surprisingly enough, I didn't do too bad on a test I expected to do terrible on.

Kiva

I know this blog is late, but I still like doing these for fun. Yesterday we talked about how to earn extra credit with Kiva. We can pick a profile on the site to write about on our blog and even donate actual money for 5 more points. IF our class has the most participation those who participated will get an additional five points. Kiva is a website that allows you to loan money to people who need it. It's basically a charity where you don't spend a dime.

Today in class we took a test on our Globalization unit. That's about it. Tickets.

Monday, October 12, 2015

Today in class I once again explained my pure hatred for the most evil substance on Earth known as marmalade. Also tickets, tickets, tickets, tickets, tickets, tickets, TICKETS! Anyways we took down some notes to study for our upcoming test on ve a great day and stay golden!

Peace! Also my cursor got all wonky and messed up. The above sentence is supposed to be "for our upcoming test" and"have a great day."

Friday

This blog is late, I won't get any credit for it, but I still have fun doing these so I'll do it anyway. On Friday we got back our quiz. I folded mien up into an airplane, and others balled it up and threw it into the trashcan. One person made a shot form all the way across the room which was quite impressive. Anyway, it was a good class, we discussed questions looked up on the CIA World Fact Book.

This blog is of yesterday's class. I forgot we had class yesterday. I likely won't get credit for this post, but I still want to do it. So in class we were tasked to go on the World Fact Book on Cia.gov to find 10 interesting facts about the world. The most interesting thing I found was that 99.9% of the population in North Korea has access to clean drinking water. That has to be a lie supplied directly from North Korea themselves. I'm sure the CIA doesn't believe it either, but they needed some kind of information to put on their website for North Korea. Also, I discovered just how terrible a place to live Somalia is. 32% of the children their are underweight. The infant mortality rate is 98! That's awful!

Wednesday, October 7, 2015

Today in class we used the world fact book n the CIA website to find information about statistics regarding the world and separate countries. We discussed these statistics within the class. That's about it. Can it be Friday now?

Friday, October 2, 2015

Today in class we learned more about the world's population. We wrote down statistics. We also talked about gun control.
